Despite its damaged ego, my "Y" chromosome says... kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss .
cast:
Oh, now its ON, baby! You've got me writing an essay today.

You can no more explain a man by his chromosomes than you can a woman by her breast size. Only a few decades ago, our reason for keeping women out of the workplace was that they were assumed to be built for childbearing rather than thinking. There have also been theories of the Jewish nose and the African forehead. Human worth and the emotional landscape are far too complex for these simplistic explanations. Its too great a leap from genetics to emotions, and I feel sorry for any man who believes that he is pure and uncomplicated, being made of just a single kind of cell throughout. His is a life half lived. Theres so much subtlety to see and to celebrate in the human experience, but we wont see it if we keep objectifying each other. So heres a kiss for your wonderful complicated soul thats far more than the sum of its parts. *smmooooch*

Aw, there he is! I just love your doggie. smile
Please move here. Austin is great, and people are so outgoing and warm. I still look behind me to see who they are talking to.
I still wish we could've done that double set. I can still picture how cool it woud've been..funny too!
Don't tell anyone the idea, maybe we can still swing it at some point.
p.s.everyone loves the owl wallet. It holds my cell phone and $. I take it for walks with me around this sweet sunny neighborhood.
Miss you,
Rose

this:
we're the only mammals who walk upright, exposing our soft bellies and hearts. whenever i'm depressed, i can't stand up straight. my whole chest collapses, shoulers slumping forward, trying to protect what hurts.

is the most honest line ever.
glass_cat:
Convenient. I missed your message on valentine's day (when I was doing fine anyhow) but find it now, when I'm feeling a bit tired and glum. I must admit I haven't talked to you before, but I figure if you send a nice message out, a thank you back is more than fair.

Thanks smile

ha! lol biggrin

no no you guys, you misread my last entry. the place WAS too good to be true. that's what i meant about the low ceilings and no windows and too ugly to be redecorated. even for only 4 hours of housecleaning a week, and no rent, i STILL don't want to live there. it was a dungeon.

SO. what i need good luck...

Take care!

well, i asked for luck yesterday because i thought i may have found my dream house situation. for 4-8 hours of housecleaning a week, i could have the lower level unit of a beautifully restored victorian.

beautifully restored, except for the servants quarters that had no window and low ceilings and ugly flourescent lighting and couldn't have been made inhabitable no matter how much i...
