Oh my goodness. I got some terrible news last night. My car isn't going to make it. There's not enough little blue sad faces in the world for this. frownfrown

I do have to respect that he let me know while I had time to reschedule the trip down and get a truck and all that stuff. He's been so awesome, but as far as going...

"Suffering is one very long moment. We cannot divide it by seasons. We can only record its moods, and chronicle their return. With us time itself does not progress. It revolves. It seems to circle round one centre of pain."
--Oscar Wilde (reformed homosexual)

If I have kids and I want to make sure they are straight I will make sure the listen to a lot of Cyndi Lauper, a "safe artist"

What no Pansy Division on the "bad list"?
marigold:

I think Tokyo is more fun with people who know a little bit about it. Finding fun places to eat at, things to do, etc. I think you could cover for the lack of knowledge by bringing along someone who is also interested in wandering around.

Trains look tricky, but necessary. And cheap.

Places I'd recommend:
Akihabara - geek shopping (anime, etc)...lots of walking.
Ueno Park
Shibuya - at night it's really busy, and lots of interesting stuff
Shinjuku - (I hope to learn more about Kabuki-cho with this next trip)
Imperial Gardens - for history's sake, if nothing else. (Sake, as in reason, as opposed to rice wine)
Sosenji Temple in Asakusa

That's all I really know.

Tell me about it. what, like 2 months without internet porn or contact with my SG friends? BALLS.

Working list of Tawnya's emotions:

  • stabby
  • punchy
  • crashy (reserved for driving)
  • wiggly (stolen from dogs everywhere)

Mostly, I'm an angry little meatbag. Especially when driving.

That was quite an amazing connection you made with the shrinky dinks in the crafty group. Next time I'm at a party, I'll whip out some polystyrene and have some crazy drunken crafty action. As an added bonus, because it's not my oven, I don't have to worry about people leaving the shrinkydinks in there so long that they smoke and make everything cooked after that taste of plastic.

And how strange, but you're the second person in two minutes with a profile with an Ani quote in it. One of the more powerful Ani songs for me lately has been Manhole:

and maybe it was i who betrayed his majesty
with no opposite reality
like a puddle with no reflection
of the sky or the trees
but after my dreaded beheading
i tied that sucker back on with a string
and i guess i'm pretty different now

Dresden Dolls! Awesome. I just started getting into them recently. I was going to catch them at Coachella, but they played too early in the day.

Yeah, i'm looking at Merritt and Michelle for this one. The third, i think was made up.
I was surprised too.............i do not think he fits into that catagory at all. It made me sad. Made him a little nervous the rest of the party. I hate that anyone would say that. I suspect they have recised the thought though. It may have been a first impression from the 666 party.
