i also wanted to see in advance if you might be free the weekend of the 12th for a birthday bash that i'm throwing with Lorelei? it's my very first grown-up party that i'm throwing for myself. and we're thinking we're going to have some sort of theme. an 80's dance party is definitely in the forefront of the race. i would really love it if you were there. let me know if this is possible and if not we can still hang out at the show.

i've only had one day of classes so far, so i don't have any reading yet, but i do have a lot of writing and applying for jobs to do. believe me, i'd much rather be reading. oh, and i like your new bird! may you live happily ever after!
