Hmmm how to best use your time? Well, here is what I used to do before being called. Slept in one day and was a total sloth. The next day, woke up at a decent hour, cleaned the house, washed clothes and prepped my travel boxes. After that, tried to be outdoors and spend time with my kids.

Oh and I do realize you are heavy into fruits and veggies but if you somehow acquire a carnivorous streak whilst on your travels try Salt Lick Barbecue in Round Rock (its a little North of Austin off I-35). They create one of the best examples of TX BBQ. Crazy delicious!
