I'm very excited to be submitting my next set later this evening. It's quite a departure from my original "coffee" set..which I think may have been interpreted incorrectly by a few people. Stay tuned for that. Hopefully it will be accepted and up sometime soon. It plays with Gothic themes (and a huge sword!) and really was great fun to shoot.

Thanks I visited a ghost town this weekend. It was way far out in the middle of the mountains..about a 2 hour drive, but well worth it. The town was full of empty houses in disrepair, and perhaps it was the weather (all drizzly) or the time of night (around 2 in the morning), but I was entirely freaked out. It's another perfect day.

A coworker and I were looking at learning a little French as well. She has been bringing a guidebook up to work and we have been trying to learn from it but we can't figure out how a lot of the words are pronounced. I have always taken Spanish and thus French baffles me.

The red set looks like it has some promise. I like the industrial feel in the background, though the PVC shelving takes away from that a bit. Anyhow, it's an idea that might be worth revisiting if you can find the right location.
