One of my friends who was a history major is a teacher in another country. But he works as a kindergarten teacher because its the only job he could find where his gf lives. lol
I kind of limited myself so there are some things I dont know very much about. The closest thing I took to an economics class was US Labor history. I went to a liberal hippie school though so it was pretty one sided.
It kind of sucks now because to be a teacher I also have to know about politics and economics. Ive been having to study on my own to learn things.
Some of the teachers that I had at my junior college sucked. The ones at the UC I went to were mostly good. Even if they were not great teachers they usually knew their subject really well. I would definitely suggest going to the best college you can get accept to if you want to go to grad school.

Good luck with that and as you say, acknowledging a behavior is the first step in altering it.

I finally learned that if I have to work incredibly hard at something one or more of the following is likely true.

1. I am going about it the wrong way.

2. I do not have a clear understanding of the desired outcome.

3. I suck at this and I should focus my energies on something I am more effective at.

Self realizations are no different that general realizations, they just hit closer to home. If possible you need to be able to heed your own perceptions and make effective efforts to alter your own act. You can definitely do this.

Sometimes I think it's best to just cut loose, and let the river take you where it will... just watch for the falls.

Ha ha, that is the perfect disguise. Halloween has to be one of the best seasons just for that. I think we are going to try to do the stampede again, this time I will try to get someone to film it all Cloverfield style.

Relationship changes can be the worst! I hate it when the sparkle goes, or things go truly sour. There comes a sense of urgency, and a sense of trepidation, when the decision is made but yet not initiated. Tugs the ol' heartstrings in too many directions.

Indeed. I carry my phone everywhere, but I have no home phone. It's the convienience of people being able to get you if they need you. But yeah, the people who are constantly texting and calling someone, face always glued to their phone.....WTF? Join the real world!
