Beavers are found throughout Canada, this colony comprised of species from Toronto and Montreal. These cuddly creatures dwell most commonly in forested areas, although beavers are also known to migrate into wide-open habitats like this one, where watercourses are bordered by deciduous trees or shrubs. This colony was photographed on the shores of Hanlan's beach where clothing is purely optional on the Toronto Island. In exhibit A we observe the beavers as they prance around, showing off their tails for the camera. The beavers tail can be used to seduce potential mates into complete sexual submission. Whether they entrap their victims out of necessity or just for amusement, the reasons are unclear. What we do know for certain is that these Beavers just don't seem to give a dam. They just want to have fun and celebrate their national significance, especially when they come out to play on Canada Day.
