Fuck yeah.
I hope you're all doing great, I'm good. Especially seeing that baby up in member review, I am quite proud. And Lise should be too, for that awesome makeup job.
Strange how it's basically supposed to be the time of year when everybody's depressed, but I have to admit I'm quite right. My down went more into the holidays, and now I feel...

Just a quick one to say party on! I hope you got all the presents and the love that you needed. And if you wished for too much, then I hope you didnt get everything and that you got a little slap in the face to snap out of it and leave some for others.
Also, go and give Syrianne some love! I know shes...

Hi guys! Thanks for your comments on my last blog. I see there aren't only stupid people here
I didn't show up at the SG party yesterday, (I hope you had a nice evening) and I have a very good reason for it. I went to an underground party, meaning a party that was underground, literally. It was Niiiiice!!
Let me put you in context:...

Happy Holidays!
Ok, it's been more than a week since I wanted to talk about the eIections, I know I'm late on the subject, I've been busy elsewhere, but I still completely think what I'm going to say. CALM THE FUCK DOWN. You crazy southern guys... I won't deny that Obama had to win this election. For many obvious reasons.
But seriously, I feel nauseated by all...

finally someone who agrees with what I've been saying
vicariously:
I'm very impressed by your insight and passion. I was also somewhat inspired by your words on hope and the difference between hoping and doing. I couldn't agree more with your indictment of our political process and media. I feel exactly the same way. I made a commitment to myself that rather than vote in an election that I didn't feel much about one way or the other, I'd spend the next four years learning about the issues and those in power, the economy and a slew of other issues, so that the in the following election, I can at least do more than vote based on what someone else told me what to think. That decision sparked others in terms of an entire evaluation of my views both politically and socially. That has become a journey of self discovery that I've only just begun. At 43 I'm taking this extreme change in attitude and direction as my version of a 'mid life crisis', but I would rather call it a mid life renewal, or rebirth even. I'm also taking a look around at organized religion and realizing that I don't believe in what any of these people believe in. So the exploration has also expanded to include the spiritual. It's a wonderful exercise and I wish I could share this with more people. Wake up!!!! Take a look around.......thanks for your thoughts, I appreciated them greatly.
Wow. I didn't even have time to get over with the last job, I was offered another one. What crazy timing is this?? Although I have to say I'm still a little hesitating, cause I really wanted to take some time off. I'm so cool that people want me all over the place! hehe I think I might be taking it, but still wait a...

Just wanted to say I'll be giving my resignation tomorrow, for a job I had for more than 2 years now. It's probably the best job I had in my short carreer, so I'm kind of scared I'll never find something as nice, but at the same time I've never been more sick of working for someone. I'm profoundly against their product and their management,...

I was about to change my entry the other day, but the same day I learned Carlin was dead. So I decided I'd let it hang a bit... Thanks for people adding nice words for him too. Funny timing. I made a tribute to him just before his time, therefore, I must've killed him! Oh, the guilt!
Yeah, ok, enough of that.

Just a short note to wish you a very Happy Birthday.
firstamendment:
yes, you have a very nice face with soft, rounded features. It would be nice to photograph.
Regarding our politics, well, I am actually on the whole pretty upbeat on the system. I look at the fact that most of our Presidents have come from modest, unexceptional beginnings and managed to rise through a weird kind of meritocracy. Clinton, Nixon, Reagan, LBJ, Eisenhower, Lincoln. Yes, there is something of a show aspect to the political season, and the system encourages some silliness. You have a parliamentary system, which tends to make multiple parties possible. In our system, there are structural reasons to tend to form into two parties. Whenever there have been 3 parties or more, one has completely disappeared. And we have been lucky that the best have come out when we needed it. There are a lot of checks and balances in our system, and those have worked pretty well by and large. The question is whether that will continue.
Of course, I am constantly frustrated on a day-to-day basis with the silliness. The heart-warming part of it is that most people I talk to have pretty good common sense about things - at least 60%.
I also can't tell you how much Americans appreciate their alliances with Canada, Great Britian, and Australia. Truly grateful.

"We have more ways to describe dirty words than we actually have dirty words. That seems a little strange to me. It seems to indicate that somebody was awfully interested in these words. They kept refering to them.
They call them bad, dirty, filthy, foul, vile, vulgar, coarse, in poor taste, unseemly, street talk,
gutter talk, locker room language, barracks talk, bawdy, naughty, saucy, raunchy,...

I like to take some of his suggestions to heart. If I'm passing a chair in the airport I jump on it to free a fart. One day I WILL order food from a fast food drive-thru, and then drive to the next store and hand them back the food and ask for the same amount of money. Alas, I will never be fully high on an airplane...unless I'm becoming part of the mile high club!
Now back to you Pumpkin, and the hippy-hippy weather! Tell George to wait!
Matt
PS: Carlin may actually had been an intelligence from another world and simply gave up, and went home. And after crossing mental swords with people for 50 years, he may have finally accepted that he was swinging at empty air. And the best place for him was safe at home.

I've totally dug Carlin my whole life.. Even funnier when you had the opportunity to watch him with someone a bit dim or conservative... All his humor was so clever, pointed, and was so much bigger than the actual joke being told.
Way cool for you to dedicate this to him, only goes to reaffirm what I'd thought in the past, have always thought you pretty introspective and cool.. I tend not to comment to much since you all probably hear so much noise that it's all a monotone drone after a while.. Anyway, when I just saw this set, I had to say something because I am always drawn to amazing shots when someone is reflecting at "life beyond the window" There's so much that I could start to write here, but don't want to drone on now... Just wanted to say how very cool the set was, you, of course are gorgeous as always, but more striking in this set was some of the really powerful gaze's at the window...
Long shall we all remember George Carlin...

I will ask you kindly- or beg you discreetly.
Please, please and pretty please, go on Google Video and see The Century of the Self by Adam Curtis.
It is a four part documentary on our modern society, and it is very well built and told. You might just learn something there. I know I did, and I think these are facts that we ought...
