Do you like horror movies? Well, I do, A LOT.

The trailer of Maxxxine from the incredible and already iconic production company A24 (Midsommar, Hereditary, Ex-Machina, Pearl and more) has finally been released!

One of my favorite films could not be left without a cosplay, increasingly elaborate, of course. I hope you like the result! And tell me if you like this kind

i absolutely love horror films and have since seeing my first at age 6*. i even lived at Roger Corman’s film studio in Venice, CA. for 2 years during which time i scored the second film i ever did; “Slumber Party Massacre 2” (1987). i’ve ended up playing on many more film scores than writing them myself. it was something i wanted to try, and did about a dozen, but i was making so much more money as a player than as a composer, with the latter being SO MUCH more difficult, for many different reasons. the last one i did, also a horror film; “Bram Stoker’s Legend of the Mummy” (1998) was it, besides one more i did with a friend in 2004. i’ve played on over 50 to 60 film scores, many of which you have no doubt seen; “The Shawshank Redemption”, “American Beauty” “Finding Nemo” “The Little Things” etc. but this was my “day job”, my true love is improvisation and i toured Europe and recorded with with trumpet player Jon Hassell from 1997 to 2021 (his death), as well as composing, but music for music, not for film. i come from experimental music, always searching for new sounds. * “House on Haunted Hill” (1958) this film starred Vincent Price who i later (1987) wound up meeting and appearing in a film with; “From a Whisper to a Scream”. i never had aspirations of being an actor, i didn’t have any lines and just happened to be in the right place at the right time to be asked to play a dual role at the very beginning, (which is good as the film is terrible!).
