moth [mawth, moth]
-noun, plural moths [mawthz, mothz, mawths, moths]
-any of numerous insects of the order Lepidoptera, generally distinguished from the butterflies by having feathery antennae and by having crepuscular or nocturnal habits.
I love watching moths at night, dancing and flirting with any light source they come across. I love the feel of their soft wings against my skin. Butterfly kisses, but softer, more teasing. Moths, to me, are bolder and more sensual than butterflies. They may not have the bright colouring, but they still have the most beautiful, intricate patterns on their wings. They're butterflies, in sepia.
Next time you see a moth dancing around a light, or flame, take a closer look, and see what I see. Beauty.
