Did you create it on some sort of trial edition of MS Word on their website or did you install a trial version of the MS Word on your computer? If the latter:
1) Your resume file should be on your hard-drive somewhere - probably in your My Documents folder, but if you don't know where it was saved, you could do a search for it.
2) You can most likely install a free alternative program, like OpenOffice, and open and edit the file with it.
Let me know if you have questions.
