When I was very young they showed Star Blazers (Space Cruiser Yamato) on my local channel and I found Cyborg 009 (The original) on another channel in Japanese with English and Korean subtitles. Both of those have a special place in my heart. As for more "old school" I love Area 88 and The Dirty Pair, Lum, Ramna 1/2 and Project A-Ko. More current stuff is Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood was better), Full Metal Panic (The silly ones! Hurray for Buntakoun!) and Kenshin. My all time favorites...FLCL, Ghost In The Shell (all of it with a special love for the Second Series), and my all time favorite, my beloved Trigun! (Everyone should do themselves a favor and read the manga as well...there is so much more there.)
