While I've never lived in LA and can't make any assumptions based on actual experiences, I can say that I've always had that impression of the city--that it's full of empty, soulless self-absorbed people who will claw their way to the top without giving one thought to the people they're stomping on on the way up. I know that I'm generalizing quite a bit and that probably only describes a handful of people there. And you can certainly find those kinds of people here. But anyway, I'm sorry that's how you feel. I do think things are different here on the East Coast. Maybe you should come back? We'd love to have you.
