Yeah I think a house cat or even a dog would be fabulous...especially these days.
Going to a job fair today & hoping to land a job with benefits - it really sucks having no health insurance when you have constant medical problems that need to be watched and taken care of. (Obviously I am immensely grateful to be in Canada but... its still potentially expensive)
