I will be the first dude to say I don't fully understand yet and there is no question that at times in my life I have been part of the problem through nothing other than ignorance. I'll hazard a guess that ignorance as a result of upbringing and society pays a big part a lot of the time but that doesn't excuse anyone now - not with so much focus on it. All we have to do is leave our preconceptions at the door, open our ears a bit and pay attention - it's really not hard.
