Hostage Jill Carroll, a freelance US journalist in Iraq on assignment for the Christian Science Monitor, is still being held captive, purportedly abducted by "The Revenge Brigade." At least that's what I heard on NPR this morning.
Video tape has been released, showing her alive, but looking very pale and tired. A demand for all female prisoners to be released in exchange for her safe return has been made. Jill is the cousin of SG member The_Alchemist (on temporary hiatus from the board).
