Chant de l'eau

Introduction

Water. The perpetually flowing life blood of our mother, from which springs all life. This is my element. The force of nature that calms me, cleanses me, baptizes me in the blood of the earth. I'm drawn to it like the bee to the wildflower, like sister falcon to the sky, brother wolf to father moon. If you listen closely, you can hear it's symphony. Gentle clear streams softly trickling like the lightest Irish flutes. Light showers as soothing as a finely tuned stradivarius violin. Torrential downpours like fierce trumpets, to the deep pitch black of powerful fifty foot swells on the deepest seas on moonless nights, roaring like thousands of bass drums consistently. Then there's the ballet of water droplets that dance on my skin chaotically and the ripples always flowing in time to any new addition to the song. This set is a first for me where, from birth of an idea to completion, the total focus was fully artistic expression and not direct sexual intimacy. Though I feel it has a wonderful blend of both. This is my worship of an element I love dearly and my chance to dance to her song! Now to capture something so important to me perfectly, I had to be selective. If you want beautiful art with a perfect splash of romance, France is world renowned for both. Wonderful Ayah was very obliged to demonstrate for me exactly why. During the months leading to our collaboration we constantly communicated our ideas and desires, with our mind's eye set on something neither of us had done before. When our time came, I danced for her, she captured me like one of her French girls. Our result is "Chant de l'eau". The first SuicideGirls artistic expression, either one of us have forged in black & white. Please enjoy this set as much as we did creating it, for ourselves, and this wonderful community.

SuicideGirls… became famous for embracing beauty in every shape and form — meaning bodies covered in tattoos, having bright-colored hair, and being outside of traditional beauty norms were celebrated. The name comes from the idea that women who commit “social suicide” by being different come together.

Fifteen years ago, a small-but-passionate community that celebrated beauty in alternative, pinup-style photography was born. It was called SuicideGirls.
