This dude I work with his x360 died...and he told me how the whole over heating thing happens....I guess when it over heats there is a glue that becomes liquid ...and makes a chip that is inside slide around and that will make the red ring appear...My friend has his xbox 360 sent in 3 times and the last time he got the ring of death guess what he did?......he put his xbox360 in his oven at 150 degrees for about a min he open the top the glue became liquid and he slid the chip back into place and guess what...his xbox360 works fantastic...Meanwhile...I sent mine in on sep 10 to the repair center in texas and I told them you guys better make sure I have my 360 in time for Halo 3 ...and they said ok...
