I’m often asked about spicy food since I live in Asia, where it’s everywhere. But as a passionate fan of Greek and Italian cuisine, I’ve always remained true to my gastronomic preferences. Hot peppers? They’ve never been my “type.” I remember the first time I tried a spicy dish. It was a fiery touch that took my breath away. Tears welled up in my eyes, and it felt like my tongue was engulfed in flames. The hot pepper tried to win my heart, but I stood firm. Our relationship just didn’t work out.
