I decided that Halloween 2023 was the start of Spooky Year, lasting until midnight Halloween 2024, and it will only end if something sufficiently wonderful should happen in the world to justify changing the lens to see the world as anything other than a horror movie. It’s much easier to deal with the horrors of the world if we expect them to manifest rather than reacting stressfully when they appear as if they shouldn’t. 🖤💀🎃
