I think can't be so difficult to understand why my work is the way it is. I don't even consider myself a photographer, Im just living my life - and may I say, not in a shy way - and meanwhile taking pictures of my surrounding, my friends, the cities I'm passing by, the things I love or find interesting: no big plans nor productions, even because when I make them, by destiny, they tend to fail. So, it's been quite a while now, I've chose to embrace and love whatever comes my way - this choice is reflecting in my work, in my thoughts, in my actions, in my fate.
I got the idea of photograph a normal day in my life, after listening A DAY IN THE LIFE, from The Beatles.
"(...) found my way upstairs and had a smoke, somebody spoke and i went into a dream."
Because this IS a dream, right? Can only be. I'm very lucky to have met such wonderful people and had the chance to live amazing experiences, specially in the two past years, so, that's actually the main reason why I spent one day shooting my own ass to share with the world: To show a little bit of my world, what I do, and officially THANK all the ones who were always with me in good and bad times, to thanks SG for giving me the chance to work and travel all over the world and meet fantastic girls from everywhere, and also the persons who made this set possible:
Medeia (I miss you here in Berlin, travesti!!!) and Douglas.
Nissin: for always holding my hand when I most need.
Phillip: for getting completely drunk and grabbing my ass.
Unida: for being this illuminated woman, making me laugh and being an adorable friend - Ich liebe dich, Golden Rasta!
And also, thanks to
Rigel for making the work of all photographers here so much easier than before and SG for being such pleasant community to be part of everyday more and more!
