ah ya i went with the bilateral mastectomy as well ...only had it on one side but didn't want it coming back...did they take your nipples? or was they able to spare them?
anais:
They took them, all the talk if possible nipple death freaked me out. I'm getting them tattooed on along with a cherry blossom tree up my side and over my breast. How long has it been for you?

Tomorrow is my last day of chemo!

I can't wait to start feeling better, have my second surgery in spring, and get my new tats! Trying to go to the grabbys in Chicago this may but depends on childcare. Yup I'm still with BostonDave, 15yrs, almost 13 married, and 3 kids. I had just had our first when I left sg in 05. Glad to

I guess I have more to say. I don't want to make my blog all about cancer bullshit. It's kind of embarrassing looking at some of my old sets, while others I adore. I've grown into myself a lot since then and feel more beautiful now at almost 37 than ever. So in the spirit of not about cancer here are some pics of my...

I remember seeing Princess Mononoke at the coolidge st theatre in Brookline with some friends when it came out. So jazzed to have these little guys to go with my original kadoma plush. And they sent me coal sprites!

other than that chemo is kicking my ass today, so sleepy!

Allo, I am closing this chapter in my life for a variety of reasons.
Friends can find me on Myspace, same name.
I'll never forget my 4 years as an SG and the experiences I had, it's just my time to move on.
Please add me to the pile of archive gals.

Allo,
I am home from the hospital complete with my beautiful sweet son. I had a ceasarian and have slept about 6 hrs since Sunday so now is time to try and rest for a moment.
I never knew I could love this much, life is beautiful.

4 More weeks!!!
I'm hoping my brain power will return after. I'm tired of feeling blank, staring at the tv and listening to the crickets in my head. My dreams on the other hand have been quite vivid and bizzare. I should keep a dream journal only half the time I don't even know where to begin explaining what went on.
Family trip to see...

when i lived there, i lived in German Village and worked out in Gahanna at Easton. all highway. it was the worst fear, wondering "how am i going to survive without this job?" when i found out i couldnt drive (or moreover, afford to RISK driving). lucky that you got to live on campus. thats where Alisa lives, and she rarely complains. all the happenings are there (well, being that the city revolves so much around OSU).
what group would you be seeing in September? i'd love to hang out if you come through-- but i perfectly understand the baby factor.
nicolelee:
alisa is easier reached through her contact tab on her journal than IN her journal. she'll be happier than ANYTHING to meet you, i'm sure of it.
