@piraterob I don't consume any meat any more. Our greed for consuming defenceless animals is actually destroying the planet. Your point was extremely well put, thank you for that.

I didn't want to stir up too much controversy on your thread by pointing out, for example, the impact on coastal waters produced by the animal agriculture industry, or the carbon footprint of that industry. Not to mention the nightmarish living conditions of the animals before their executions ... argh! You said it well ... our greed is indeed destroying the planet. But ... it is really weird how many committed environmentalists totally freak out when one tries to discuss the matter with them.
