So I can't really access old blogs huh? Unless I'm missing something, there isn't a little calender like we used to have where you could go back through the years?

cut diagonally at the node you want to clip it back to, dip the cut part in honey and put it in water if you want to root it. you can also feed some of the runner back into the pot and clip it down if you have exposed soil, it will eventually root.

====<====<=====O that's the vine...each "V" equals the spot (node) where a new leaf popped out along the trail.

just take scissors, razor blade, etc and clean cut each node eeek about 1/8" just past each leaf sprout.
what you'll have in your hand will be a bunch of green round sticks about 1" or more in length with a leaf on one end.
get some decent potting mix (not real outside type dirt) into any coffee mug sized container and poke about half dozen of the stick ends into the loose soil until the leaf is almost buried. press down soil a bit and lightly water.
should see new growth in about 2 weeks.
moisten only when top of soil feels dry and crumbly.
good luck and enjoy! wink

I'm really having a hard time adjusting now that I've moved.

Like... a really hard time.

I also have a hard time adjusting when I have to move from one place to another, either for living or for work. To be honest, I'm not very comfortable with change of any sort, and like all of us, have had to push through the fears and anxieties that come with it. I find the best way to deal with it is to have my 'comfort' items with me throughout the move. Things that allow me to take needed deep breath, smile, and hopefully a quiet laugh to myself as I think through the memory that this item possesses for me. A picture of my dog I keep at my desk, putting together a playlist on my iPod of memorable music, a cup of coffee/tea prepared just the way I like it, a small football my nephew and I play together with, etc.. These things will calm your senses, give you clarity, and keep you grounded as you give your mind the time it needs to adjust. It is a slow process, yet surrounding yourself with familiar: photos, music, candle scents, etc. will help you feel more at ease.

I have been a member of this site since 2005, and you were the reason I subscribed. It is as if you grew up before our eyes, and I would like to thank you for sharing so much (and I'm not talking about the pretty pictures, well that too smile )
Congratulations with the engagement! You look really happy and I know a lot of people want you to be happy!
Sorry about your doggy-friend, it is always tough. Think of it this way: He was the most loyal to you, ever, with no subtle motives. He will live on in your heart.

biggrin

You are still, after.... 8 years my favorite!

I quit my job because my boss was increasingly abusive and insane. I feel free but also fear because I didn't really have a back up plan... but I couldn't stay. I went to work the other day and she was standing at the front door crazy-eyed with a list in her hand of things she wanted to argue about and specific texts...
