Rain is lifegiving so enjoy it don't let it get you down. Thats one of the things I miss so much about living in the NW and what I look forward to when I move back.

i didnt see much wildlife.. i thought we were going to another campsite that i had already been to before that was amazing.. in sarasota called myakka.. there its lush with tall trees and undergrowth.. air plants and spanish moss hang in the trees..
this campground however had suffered hurricane katrina and a controlled burn only a few months ago.. there werent...

Have a good trip to Miami and enjoy the sunshine + the meat - I soooo enjoyed the abandonment of vegetarianism and returning to being a carnivore.. life is too short and meat is so tasty.. trips to the supermarket are so much more interesting when all the meat and fish options are available again!
