I'm so excited for your eye surgery - that's amazing! I knew you wore glasses, that I just assumed were for reading. I had no idea that you wore contacts everyday - what a relief it will be afterward to never have to think about it again!

I was at a birthday party last week end and the topic of experiences with bats came up. A female cyclist was saying about being in a park in Sydney and seeing all the bats flying across the setting sun light. I had to smile.

the end of the semester's a fine, fine time. heady and dewy. thirsty, too, if you are me.

have a ton(ne) of fun in SF! in a few weeks i'm going home to SD, and LA too. i'm going to eat mexican three meals a day, guaranteed, and run around and scream and jump and get tore-up and wreak havoc before returning to gringoville to get snowed on more.....like today, yesterday, and last week
