I am writing from my very own ice-box/bedroom while bundled in my winter jacket. I believe my bedroom windows are the same single-paned glass ones that were installed when the house was built. In the 1930s.

I was watching MuchMusic today, and when doing a segment on family feuds and introducing "The Knowles Sisters" they spelled it "The Knowle's Sisters". I'm sorry... isn't that incorrect?...

No really... I'm still here.

I think.

I've been writing a paper for the past 4 hours and I think my eyeballs are going to pop out of my head. Go social welfare policy.... WOOT!

Had a very bad very awful long day yesterday which included me NOT working on my paper due to a day-long migraine which started when I woke up and ended...

Oh Yay!

New set day is like a birthday, only better. Thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments.

So I wrote a nice long journal entry, and then when I pressed save it went directly to my login page and my new journal entry was indeed NOT saved. Grr.

This would be the part where I update my journal and talk about all the fabulous...

Jeezaloo. I should be doing homework.

Thanks to everyone for their warm wishes last night! Believe it or not, I ended up having a fabulous night. In a weird turn of events, after deciding after all that I would go to my usual haunt, all the girls ended up coming out and we had an impromptu girly bar night. I drank a bit (but after...

Great day/Awful Day.

Interestingly enough, the great day was all OUTSIDE of the house and the awful day was all INSIDE the house. HMMM.

Yes, I woke up to the dog being *accidently* (thanks Mum) let into Mum's room before going on the necessary early morning walk. So she pissed on Mum's bed and pooped in the closet. So Mum's all upset and all noodly,...

Blllaaarrrggghhh!!

Worked last night, got up at 9:00, did all the necessary morning stuff (dog out, dog in, dog fed, Mum fed, Mum takes pills, me fed) and then went back to bed until... ready for it? 2:00 pm.

I hate it when I do that. Waa! I don't care if I work until 3 am. There's no excuse for that kind of laziness.

On...

couple of things:
1. sorry took the comment about finding a WM down right as you commented. don't want to be a name dropping noob in my journal.
2. how is the pension plan for piercer retirement?
3. light enough to be piggy backed by a midget is tough, you still might scrape your knees on that one.
4. and they actually make a bra with winnie the pooh on it? and its was a xmas winnie too?

oh, and thanks for the friendship.

Well let's see. What's new with LuluMae today?

Went to the Museum today. Was super fun EXCEPT that the Ice Age was under construction and the Wooly Mammoth was behind cutains. Boo! Booooooo! He's my favorite part!!

Had a frustrating evening with Mum. She wanted to tag along to the grocery store (which I "needed" to go to for both her dinner plus a little...

It's just a reference to your quote....I have no idea.
elizagirl:
You know, I really, honestly believed until less than five years ago that that was a real mammoth--like....carcass and all--that they had maybe found frozen in a glacier somewhere or something...I never thought that part out too well.

But I love that mammoth, even though I now know he's not real.

My favourite part is the forest scene...the part where it's cool, and you can hear birds singing and if you peek around corners you can see a cougar, and deer, and birds and bears, and if you stand right in the middle of the room and look up and whistle, the echo is really weird.

Alright, alright... I'm still alive!

After two people came up to me at work last night and said "Oh good, you're still alive... you haven't updated your SG journal in so long!" I knew it was time to come online and catch up with a bunch of stuff I've gotten behind on.

Well, The Bettilu Bombshells have been super busy with lots of side projects,...

I feel sick.

I think I'm just overtired. And depressed. And feeling a little overwhelmed by life. And very very tired of trying to find things to wear to work every single night.

Not much excitement today- went grocery shopping, went to the bank, got some oil for Lydia, rented some DVD's that I shouldn't watch because I should be reading for school instead but...

Wow, it's been a month now. I hope your quest for normalcy has been fruitful.

I'll probably be popping in tonight -- is this enough warning? biggrin
friedbanana105:
Glad you're alive. Seriously, you looked amazing tonight. Not just the hair -- you seemed happy.

Let's do this thing old-school LJ style.

Current Mood: No comment. On autopilot.
Current Music: Harry Belafonte "Shake Senora"

Just so very tired. I was going to come online and tell everyone my slightly amusing tale of DVD player woe which includes two (count them two) defective DVD players, three trips to Futureshop, and a very frustrated LuluMae- but I can't be bothered.

I can...
