I really suck at answering e-mails. I'm going to try to get better at this. Trying to find time for SG (and the many obligatory social networking sites we all participate in) plus real life, work, school... Damn. I think it is sort of obvious I put my "real life" first... But I need to upgrade my phone so I can do more things on the go... God, I'm turning into one of those people... Aghhhhh....
I have been reading Jacques Prvert for class. I like the straight-forwardness of his writing. I do find, at least in Paroles, that he uses repetitive vocabulary/themes in different poems. Sometimes, it reinforces an idea or a symbol, but other times, it feels limiting... I can't decide how I feel about it, really. If you are familiar with his writing (in French), we can discuss si vous voulez.
On another slightly literary note, I am need of some new filthy, dirty smut... Nothing awkwardly written, no harlequin romance style crap that just happens to include "throbbing members" ... Recommendations for any kick-ass erotica? Lesbian or hetero. Or vampire. Whatever.
In an artistic slump... Think I'm too bogged down with other things to let my creative mind wander...
Soon enough...

I read a ton of European Literature when I was in college (English Lit major), but of course I can't speak or read French so I'm not gonna be able to compare notes sadly
Take care.
