Caravaggio is indeed a spectacular painter.  I tend for the Dutch/Flemish painters of the first part of the 17th century, and so (obviously) Vermeer, but many others such as Van de Velde II, Hals...well, a lot of them.  The website for "1000 museums" is a wonderful place to view many of them.

great collection (from what I'm able to read)! ...only a couple I haven't watched.  my collection of movies takes up 6 bookshelves - 1/3 of which is horror/thriller.  I enjoy the hell out of even the bad ones and it takes a lot to get me to jump... "The Ruins" is the only one that caught me completely off guard. :)

Welp, ya got me started. Thank you thank you thaaaaank you @lyxzen @rambo and @missy for this INCREDIBLE blog homework. This weeks homework is about your favorite artist. Hands down it is Alex Pardee. My god if you have yet to see his art you are missing out. I've been slightly obsessed with his work since I was about 14. I use to watch

The death of that wildling woman was so cliche, telling her children that she was right behind them. It was just too obvious that she was going to die. What wasn't obvious was how she was going to die.

My absolute favorite artist happens to also be the person I am married to... @oldfashionedgent

What am I afraid of?

1. Balloons exploding.

According to "The Interwebs" it's called Globophobia, and it's one of the most irrational fears.
