FRIENDSHIP.-

Blog Post By babel

It’s really nice the homework @rambo @missy @lyxzen and @charmaine gave us this week: Share an experience you have had or friendship you have made through SuicideGirls.

As many of you know, the person who talked to me about the site was my friend @tangerine

At first she let me use her password so that I could navigate in the site and learn more...

I'm sure I'm not the only person (male or female) who has this problem. I've always been the shy type who no matter what can not go up to a attractive person and strike up a conversation that will lead to a date. I see my friends ...

Ask. What do you have to lose?

Theres a girl i work with I like, spoke to someone a few weeks ago and was told her name, how old she was and asked if she was single or not. I meant to ask her last week, but due to someone not coming in, i ended up doing something other than what i intended to, and everytime that i saw her, she was busy talking to some other people she works with; so i didnt. Spoke to one of the guys she works with that night, and told him to ask her to speak to me (last night); being a day they were both in next.

Went in last night, saw neither hide nor hare of the guy till after 10 and had already asked her, saw her sweeping the floor near where i asked and thought "what do i have to lose", went to her and just said, "can i ask you something, do you want to get dinner sometime". Straight off, it was a bit "errr..." then it became okay, but i'm not very outgoing. "thats fine, neither am i". She took my number and said she'd text me when she got home, and did, as i saw talking to the guy she works with.

Got to organise something with her, but not sure when to text her. Bit tricky as i know shes at college somedays, but i'll probably text her about 5ish, before shes at work, must be after college as well..

Honestly, what do you lose out by not asking. If she says no, you dont lose anything, if she says Yes...then Wooo!

My thoughts are similar to @grayrains with only one difference. I think it's time for people to be clearer with their intentions. We've all been there where we don't know if this is a date or just some friends hanging out. I recommend clearly stating if it's a date or not and as a pretty shy guy myself, this has been difficult but I see the benefits for sure

2/27: Share an experience you have had or friendship you have made through SuicideGirls.

Thanks for this beautiful blog homework @rambo @missy @lyxzen

Well SG has made me very happy! Yes, that sums it up pretty good.

Everything happens for a reason and I look at SG as a journey. Without @Rambo I would have never applied, without @waikiki I would have never traveled...

I like this homework assignment. Iv read a few of the girls blogs on this subject and its nice to see girls getting along. Usually in my experience girls are hard pressed to make friends with other girls in community. Totally not the case here in SG land at all.

Obviously there's always the option of just going out to eat or throwing something in the microwave, but what do you cook when you just want something quick and easy? Spaghetti is always my go to. Cook some sausage, add the sauce, boil some noodles, and your done in ...

Some sort of pasta with butter.

Once the pastas almost done you melt the butter, add some garlic and onion powder, dried thyme and basil, and red pepper flakes. Top it off with some grated parm and you're good to go!

Takes less than 2 minutes and taste delicious!

When I'm not feeling like cooking, I get to experimenting with different types of melts. My favorite right now is the sloppy Joe melt

This week, my homework topic is about sharing an experience or a friendship that I've made through SuicideGirls. I think I'm most excited to write about this particular topic, just because it's a topic I've wanted to write about for a long time because I could go on for miles about it, but never felt it was...

I don't even consider this horror anymore but my first was Scream and I felt so cool because my older cousins let me stay up late to watch it with them. I think this is why I'm so willing to give obviously bad horror movies a chance haha
