I am uncircumcised. and I am grateful that my parents made that decision at the time. Uncircumcised men have a larger area of sensory receptors, which translates into more stimulation during sex. Alistair Reynolds is indeed great. House of Suns is my favorite, although the whole Revelation Space series is great too. I just finished The Red: First Light by Linda Nagata. I'd been putting it off even though she's one of my favorite hard science/nanotech writers because I'm just not that into military SF, but that was a really dumb move on my part. It was absolutely gripping, with very plausible near-future tech, great pacing, and really well-written fight scenes. Highly recommended—I can't wait for the sequel!
