Group Thread in pagan peeps
adarkendflame

Hoping to hear some input, experiances, recemmendations, or anything else related to lucid dreaming. I've been able to somewhat "sway" but not fully control my dreams so looking to see what others have done.

I have been doing it since I was a kid. We call it here "Walking". My ideas on helping you would be meditate and work on projection first while awake and then work on dream walking. If you can grasp one the other comes "pretty easy". At some point if you keep it up you can walk into other people's dreams. Just keep practicing and take it slow. Time works differently in The Other and you're not really sleeping so you might ended super tired after.....give yourself time to recover.

Lucidity in whatever form is a by product of concentrating on the moment with willfull influence. Meditation is the booster to have this presence with your awareness of reality. The original Gautama Buddha recommended simply counting your breath in a cycle of 10 and repeat. After a while your thoughts diminish and counting is no longer necessary. I have had several lucid experiences which weren't necessarily dreams. All of them were a result of my mystic activity throughout my day and as my may focus constantly. Its strange the different realms available. Even though I have had three completely different lucid experiences not necessarily dreams, it seems there could be an infinite planes to experience with your consciousness. My first vision was prior to waking after a drinking excursion. It was a liquid light realm with a burning spinning triangle. Quite intense and ended up being my initiation into tattoos as I was inspired by my pursuit of enlightenment. My second was a deep trance after drifting into a sleep realm while meditating, laying in a chair. I was almost consumed by a infinitely colored light wall with tendrils of light grabbing me with an imposing gravity. I awoke before I was consumed by it and felt I was there for five minutes or so. My third was after meditating and lying down. After my body relaxed my consciousness was staring down a spiral made of what seemed to be endless triangles. When my relaxation broke I exited. I have read that lucid visions of mandalas is possible with a consistent practice of meditation. I have since reached higher levels of spontaneity but haven't experienced any lucid dreams or visions since. Perhaps the subconscious cleans after awhile. Either way lucidity in any experience is riveting.

So, I thought really hard about this week's homework assigned by the lovely @missy & @rambo and came to the conclusion of what I fear; everything.

I remember being younger and hiding behind my parents when they introduced us to their friends. They'd giggle and say, "Oh, she's just shy." But at some point I must've realized it was more than that...

SG HOMEWORK!

Blog Post By cartoon

When I was little, one day I saw Chucky, the movie, and since that day I am afraid of the dark. I asked my mother to leave the light on, now I can't sleep without the TV turned on.

I got used to live my fear.

Thanks @rambo and @missy ❤️

That is one film I have never watched! I was 10 (ish) when a little boy was murdered by two slightly older boys who had, alegedly, watched a Chuckie film.... Not sure if I can say that's the reason I never watched any of the films, I don't believe that a film/TV or video games can make a person violent, that kind of shit is inherent.

I've got final exams around the corner buuuut I've got time to make the current @bloghomework that @rambo and @missy had proposed.

At first I thought of superficial fears, like snakes, EVPs... but then I thought of things that really scares me and I couldn't do anything to prevent if it happens.

So, my main fear is solitude. Not for the thing...

Fears & Anxiety

Blog Post By kitten__

When I was little, I was afraid of 3 things: porcelain clown dolls, adults who dress up as the mall santa/easter bunny/whatever, and being abandoned. I honestly have no idea why. I just remember the recurring nightmares.

I'm still entirely terrified of porcelain clown dolls. Not actual clowns. Well, not all actual clowns. But all porcelain clown dolls.

I dislike most bugs

If you get to Osaka, the most vivid memory I have is of a covered alleyway that was full of vendors and shops.  Souvenirs, antiques, food and pachinko / video game parlors. Loud video game guitar solos and ten million steel ball bearings ricocheting off of steel nails, combined with all the smells of the food vendors...straight out of Blade Runner.  I'll never forget it!  Look for it.

@maineymoe That sounds amazing! I will make sure to look for it next time I go :D

A quick hello

Blog Post By sunshine

How do I sum up the months of life that I've experienced and all of the great times I've had since my last blog in a quick update while my dinner is cooking? I can't, and I can't even try right now. The thought of waiting for all of the photos to upload to share my experiences makes it overwhelming.

So...

Thank's to @rambo @lyxzen and @missy for giving us this homework this week, because I have many phobias..

The first thing is, I have an uncontrollable phobia of vomit. I just want to die if I see someone puke in front of me, I start crying, can't stay close, I just want to escape and run far far away ahah. For me, it
