Reality Star 'Prom' Drama
Prom magazine shocked Brooke Hogan, daughter of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan, when they yanked her from the cover of an upcoming issue. Apparently Hogan disappointed the editors of Prom after seeing the reality star on the cover of lad mag FHM with her boobs hanging out. The magazine replaced her with squeaky-clean kid star, Ashley Tisdale.
After Hogan posed for FHM's November issue wearing nothing but a skimpy bikini, the teen-focused mag elected to drop her from its cover, stating it felt her image was not appropriate for the Prom audience.
"We don't feel up to taking thousands of telephone calls from the upset mothers of our young promers," spokesman Aaron Bernick said in a statement.
Although the Prom staff plans to keep Hogans set in the mag, her reps cried foul, accusing Prom editors of creating drama to increase sales.
"Clearly, Prom is attempting to publicize their magazine by stirring up controversy over photos of Brooke that they took more than a year ago," Hogan's rep said in a statement to E! Online. "Looks like they are trying to up their circulation."
It isnt all bad new for Hogan; her familys VH1 reality show, Hogan Knows Best, returns for a new season October 22nd.
