As previously reported, burlesque beauty Dita Von Tesse has filed for divorce from Marilyn Manson.
In addition to rumors that Von Tesse, 33, is asking for sole custody of the couple's two cats, further rumors are abounding about Thirteen actress Evan Rachel Wood's involvement in the separation.
Wood, 19, and Manson, 38, have apparently become close since she agreed to be involved in his upcoming horror flick Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll. Gossip has also circulated regarding Mansons involvement with train-wreck partier and AA member, Lindsay Lohan.

Time To Rid America Of The Scourge Known As Divorce
Submitted by FearTheReaper
Edited by FearTheReaper
As a good Christian country, we have been fighting a valiant effort against the nightmare of gay marriage. To date many states have passed laws against same sex marriage and our children are safer because of it. But now we must look to the next battle that God wants us to fight: Ending divorce.
The first battleground will be Virginia. Last year the state passed a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage and now the Family Foundation of Virginia will use its influence to change the state's divorce laws to make it more difficult for parents to end their marriage. Halleluiah.
The current law allows for a husband and wife to just end their marriage without any cause. They can actually just look at each other and say, I dont want to do this anymore, even if they have children. Its like spitting in the face of the baby Jesus.
The Family Foundation is advocating "mutual consent divorce" for couples with children, which would require a husband and wife to agree to divorce before a marriage can be legally terminated, except in certain instances, such as abuse or cruelty. The proposed legislation would not affect childless couples.
Hopefully this legislation will pass because the children need to be saved. Children who are raised without two parents in the household usually grow up to be rapists, or worse, criminals. Now, if a man beats his woman for being insubordinate she wont just be able to up and leave because she is sad. He will have to agree with the decision also. And the children will have two parents. And Jesus will be happier.
"You can just walk away from someone right now. There is less security in the covenant of marriage than if you and I agree to open up a hamburger joint," Marshall said.
True, sadly, so very true. Please be the first to save American, Virginia

Yawn (I mean, sigh)another Hollywood marriage goes sour. After one year of a blissful union sharing eye-liner, corsets and bottles of Merlot, TMZ reports that burlesque bombshell Dita Von Teese has filed for divorce from shock-rock hubby Marilyn Manson, citing irreconcilable differences. The Los Angeles-based duo broke up on Christmas Eve but papers were not filed until the 29th.
A source close to the couple tells Page Six that Manson has been in the dark on the split, because Von Teese can't get in touch with the guy. "She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can't even get him on the phone." Page Six also claims that Manson's alcohol use may have oiled up the breakup.
Um, paging Brian Warner...

Pam Anderson & Kid Rock's Marriage Destroyed by Kazakh Journalist

Nobody saw this one coming: Pamela Anderson and hubby Kid Rock (aka Bob Ritchie) announced their separation. The couple threw a trash-tastic wedding aboard a yacht in Saint Tropez last summer, then spent a stunning four months together before they had enough. Although it was safe to assume the couple split because she flashed her tit-tays all over town and got sick of watching NASCAR, that was not the case. Sources claimed the couple split over Americas favorite Kazakh journalist, Borat.
The hugely popular film shows Sasha Baron Cohenin character as Borat Sagdiyevfalling in love with Anderson after seeing her in a "Baywatch" rerun, then driving across America in order to propose marriage to her.
A friend of the couple said Anderson couldnt stand Kid's "male insecurity and major anger issues." The issue erupted two weeks ago while the couple attended a screening of Andersons new film Borat at Universal Studio exec Ron Meyer's Beverly Hills house.
Her friend tells Page Six, "Bob started screaming at Pam, saying she had humiliated herself and telling her, 'You're nothing but a whore! You're a slut! How could you do that movie?' in front of everyone. It was very embarrassing.
"Pam thought he could have a sense of humor about the movie. She was in on the gag from the very beginning and loved doing the movie. And on the eve of what was supposed to be a very positive thing, he made it an awful night.
"Ever since that night, it has been icicles between them," the friend relates. "Bob is just a very unhappy and angry man. Pam is very disenchanted and sad. You know, there are reasons why she never married him before. Those reasons disappeared while they were together on a boat in St. Tropez, but she knows now that they never went away. The reality is he is an insecure, angry man."
Neither Pams nor Kid Rocks reps commented on the details of the split, but no one really cares what they have to say. Were patiently waiting for Borats take on the situation.

Breaking: Britney Spears Files for Divorce
Tags: Britney Spears, :Kevin Federline, " Divorce
Shes shed the post-baby weight, and now its time to shed some dead weight; TMZ.com announced Britney Spears filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline.
Spears filed legal papers today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." In her petition, Spears asks for both legal and physical custody of the couple's two children, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month old Jayden James, with Federline getting reasonable visitation rights.
As for money, sources tell TMZ the couple, who married in Sept. 2004, has an iron-clad prenup. Not surprisingly, Spears is waiving her right to spousal support. She's also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney's fees.
Spears gives the date of separation as yesterday, the same day she flaunted her incredible revamped physique during a surprise appearance on David Letterman's show. Sources tell TMZ there was no single reason for Britney pulling the plug, rather, it was "a string of events."
Spears has yet to comment on the matter.

Stephen Hawking and Wife Headed for Divorce
Tags: Stephen Hawking, Elaine, Divorce
Professor Stephen Hawking and his wife of eleven years filed for divorce in Cambridge County Court in England. Hawking and wife Elaine faced constant rumors about their marriage, including reports she abused the wheelchair-bound scientist (despite widespread reports of abuse, police failed to find any evidence). New rumors recently surfaced; sources said the marriage ended because Hawking is in love with someone else.
Last night a source close to the couple said: Stephen and Elaines relationship is over. There is also talk that he has fallen for another woman.
Its an incredibly sad state of affairs. Nobody knows why they are splitting up its a complete mystery. But there is a possibility another woman is involved.
News of the divorce pleased friends of the couple. Tales of freaky-deaky actions by Elaine abound.
One of Prof Hawkings old carers claimed new nurses were subjected to a strange initiation by Elaine.
This involved being called to the bedroom to find him and his naked wife having sex. The carer said: It was to make it clear that they had a sexual relationship.
So, lets sum this up: Stephen Hawking is smarter than you, has more money than you, and gets more ass than you. Life isnt always fair, is it?

McCartney's Estranged Wife Claims Abuse
Tags: Paul McCartney, Heather Mills, Divorce, Abuse
Paul McCartneys ugly divorce just got a helluva lot uglier. McCartneys estranged wife, Heather Mills-McCartney, revealed in court documents that the Beatle repeatedly abused her, even while she was pregnant with their daughter. Mills also accused McCartney of myriad offences, including trying to stab her with a wine glass.
In Los Angeles, in November 2002, the papers say, he 'grabbed her by the neck and pushed her over a coffee table.'
He then went outside and, in his allegedly drunken state, fell down a hill, cutting his arm, which remains scarred Later, in May 2003, while Miss Mills was four weeks' pregnant, she claims Sir Paul became 'angry and pushed' her into a bath. She says she suffered 'shock and distress.'
On Long Island, in August 2003, Miss Mills asked Sir Paul if he had been smoking marijuana and claims he became 'very angry, yelled at her, grabbed her neck and started choking her.'
In April 2006, as the marriage neared collapse, Sir Paul allegedly tipped red wine from a bottle over his wife's head and then threw what remained in his glass at her.
The divorce papers claim that Sir Paul 'then reached to grab the respondent's (Miss Mills'
wine glass, and broke the bowl of the glass from the stem.
'He then lunged at the respondent with the broken, sharp stem of the wine glass, which cut and pierced the respondent's arm just below the elbow, and it began to bleed profusely.
'He proceeded to manhandle the respondent, flung her into her wheelchair and wheeled it outside, screaming at her to apologise for "winding him up."' Miss Mills' still bears the scars of the assault', the papers say.
The papers allege that Sir Paul humiliated his wife, or ignored her needs. After the birth of their daughter Beatrice in 2003, he forced his exhausted wife to 'accompany him everywhere' still with no regard to her physical or disability needs, they claim.
The court papers detailed Mills' assertion that McCartney was particularly cruel in not considering Mills' disability.
In April 2006, it is claimed, Miss Mills - who lost a leg in a road accident in 1993 - was forced to crawl on her hands and knees up the steps of a plane because they were not wide enough for her wheelchair and Sir Paul had not made other arrangements.
Sir Paul allegedly told his wife during her pregnancy she should not breastfeed because 'they are my breasts'. He is alleged to have told her: 'I don't want a mouthful of breastmilk.'
She breastfed for six weeks, but gave up because Sir Paul would constantly interrupt her during feeds which left her 'miserable and demoralized', the papers say.
In November 2005, Sir Paul is alleged to have forced her to defer an essential and already once-cancelled operation on her leg because it 'interfered with his holiday plans'.
The papers claim Sir Paul vomited on himself after a drinking session towards the end of their relationship and staggered home drunk and slurring, demanding his dinner.
One possible explanation for the ugliness: the couple is battling over McCartneys $1-billion fortune. The Cute Beatle, in his infinite wisdom, did not require Mills to sign a prenuptial agreement before their wedding. McCartney claimed Mills back out of her agreement to take $30 million for a quick and painless divorce. Instead, Mills hired the attorney who represented Princess Diana in her divorce from Prince Charles.
Through a statement issued by his legal team, McCartney denied all allegations of abuse, but insisted he will not respond directly to Mills claims.
"Our client would very much like to respond in public and in detail to the allegations made recently against him by his wife and published in the press but he recognizes, on advice, that the only correct forum for his response to the allegations made against him is in the current divorce proceedings.
"Our client will be defending these allegations vigorously and appropriately. Our client is saddened by the breakdown of his marriage and requests that his family is allowed to conduct their personal affairs out of the media spotlight for the sake of everybody involved."

A Polite Celebrity Divorce: News At 11
Hats off to Everybody Loves Raymonds Brad Garrett and his ex-wife for the demise of their marriage. Not for the break-up itself, but for a Hollywood rarity: the amicable divorce.
Unbeknownst to the media, Garrett and his wife, Jill Divan, split up a year ago. Heck, even his parents didnt know. No headlines, no nasty public fights, no mud-slinging. How very Bruce and Demi.
Garrett, 46, says that he and Diven had kept their separation a secret from his coworkers and even his parents, and that he and his ex - whom he considers "an extraordinary woman" and "the greatest mom in the world" - are on good terms.
Garrett, who stars in the new FOX sitcom 'Til Death, still keeps a room in the Woodland Hills, Calif., mansion he shared with Diven, and she has space in his 1940s Spanish-style home in Malibu, which she found for him while he was on Broadway earlier this year in a revival of The Odd Couple.
Amid the surfeit of nasty divorces past and present (Sir Paul vs. Heather, Denise vs. Charlie, Travis vs. Shanna, Nick vs. Jessica, The Hoff vs. Pamela, Jen vs. Brad, Alec vs. Kim), it's nice to see a couple so trauma-free.
And while cynics may attribute the low-key separation to Garrett's lack of celebrity, that often works in the inverse. The lower the celeb's Q-rating, the splashier the break-up. (I'm talking to you, Liza and David.)
Its too soon to know how Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson will fare, but perhaps theyll remember that the only people who win in a nasty divorce battle are the lawyers. And Us Weekly.

Iraqi Courts Get It Right. Heavy Flow = No Go

Divorce is the hip new trend in Iraq. Twice as many marriages are ending in divorce since the US invasion. Apparently marriages in Iraq are weak and cant handle the occasional stress of a car bomb blowing up the family business or the execution of a son. Add the loosening of social stigmas, mix in a poor economy and youve got the perfect recipe for divorce.
Many of the problems are the same as we see in America. Take Raad and Nidhal Khalil. Nidhal was upset when Raad took a second wife, so she moved out. There could, obviously, be no reconciliation. The judge looked at the couple and asked the most important question:
"Are you pure today?"
Nidhal nodded. In a great advancement for law in general, Shiite Muslim women are not allowed to participate in court proceedings while they are menstruating. The judge then granted the divorce and forbid Nidhal from getting married for three months. Sounds like any old day in an Iowa courthouse.
A 40-year veteran of the bench explained it.
"It is an explosion of failed marriages. It has never been like this," He called divorce "the most despicable hallal," meaning the worst thing permissible under Islam.
In 1959 Iraq passed a personal status law that governs marriages. It is one of the most progressive in the Middle East and does not adhere solely to Islamic law, which favors men in nearly all matters. The religion does, however, play an important role. The not allowing menstruating women in court is a small but reasonable example.
Occasionally judges will send the couples to social workers, like Sundis Ghazi Hassan Habash, in a last ditch effort to save the marriage. Habash has heard all the excuses and accepts some; physical abuse, adultery and the taking of another wife without permission. Habash's method is simple:
"Threaten them and make them afraid of the future."
God bless the work you do, Habash. We need to keep spending our American dollars on helping these people, its a wise investment.

Brinkley Dumped Husband for Cheating on Her
Tags: Christie Brinkley, Peter Cook, Hamptons, affair, divorce, Diana Bianchi
There's nothing pretty about the impending divorce of Christie Brinkley and her husband Peter Cook.
Shortly after news of their split became public, it was discovered that Cook had been cheating on the 52-year-old model... with a 19-year-old office assistant at his architecture firm.

Photo Location
An aspiring singer..., Diana Bianchi first caught Cook's eye last summer while she was working in a toy store on tony Jobs Lane, where he was shopping for his and Brinkley's two young kids, a source said.
He continued dropping by the shop over the summer, and then, when she was expected to be laid off because the store was to close for the season, he offered the petite, shapely woman a job at his architectural firm.
She accepted, becoming his assistant, and a romantic relationship blossomed, sources said. While he wooed her with gifts, Cook whimpered to Bianchi that he wished they were the same age, sources said.
Among the gifts Bianchi, 19, received were jewelry, cash and a Nissan Maxima. However, Bianchi has now hired herself a lawyer, who says that the situation smacks of sexual harassment.
"It amounts to preying on an innocent, young and naive girl who would otherwise have no attraction to a 50-year-old man," lawyer Joseph Tacopina said. "He offered her money, a job, career advancement. And when he got her comfortable, he made his real intentions known."
Cook was busted by Brinkley when she found salacious emails on his computer.

Court Papers: Jackson Stiffing His Ex-Wife
Tags: Michael Jackson, Debbie Rowe, divorce, financial
Despite his much-publicized weirdness, Michael Jackson reportedly has one thing in common with thousands of regular guys - he's welching on payments to his ex-wife.
Debbie Rowe - who bore Jackson two kids, gave them up for big bucks, and has since decided she wants them back - filed a motion in L.A. asking a judge to make Jackson cough up the promised cash.
According to the motion, Rowe claims she's almost bankrupt and needs the money to finance her custody fight.
The agreement provides that Rowe was to receive $1 million dollars up front, and an additional $1 million dollars a year for the next three years. After that, Rowe was to receive $750,000 a year for the next six years. Rowe's total take: $8.5 million. Rowe claims Jackson has not lived up to the agreement.
Also in the papers are details of Rowe's "quality time" with her kids. Under the custody agreement, she's allowed to see her children once every 45 days, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Although with those head shrouds Jackson makes the kids wear, it's anyone's guess who Rowe is actually seeing.

Meanwhile, Jackson recently announced plans to move to Europe in an effort to kickstart his career. Yeah, that'll work.
