Titan Books are putting out a compendium of rare and recently uncovered photos of burlesque icon Dita Von Teese. The volume, entitled Fetish Goddess Dita, comes out on September 21, but the publishers have been kind enough to offer SG an exclusive advance viewing of some of the images, which are posted below for your delectation and delight.

Okay, okayquestion: what's classier, dating someone half your age or personally delivering a $100,000 charitable check to help spread the word about HIV prevention? I'm not here to ruffle any feathers or fire up any fanatics, I'm just saying that Dita Von Teesepasties, feathers and allis a classy lady, and her latest class act involves delivering a check to the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation in Sydney, Australia. Dita is there as a spokesperson for the Mac AIDS Fund, which has raised the money through sales of it's VIVA Glam lipstick. There's more info available on

Bye, Bye Love: Manson Gets The Boot
Yawn (I mean, sigh)another Hollywood marriage goes sour. After one year of a blissful union sharing eye-liner, corsets and bottles of Merlot, TMZ reports that burlesque bombshell Dita Von Teese has filed for divorce from shock-rock hubby Marilyn Manson, citing irreconcilable differences. The Los Angeles-based duo broke up on Christmas Eve but papers were not filed until the 29th.
A source close to the couple tells Page Six that Manson has been in the dark on the split, because Von Teese can't get in touch with the guy. "She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can't even get him on the phone." Page Six also claims that Manson's alcohol use may have oiled up the breakup.

Scarlett Johansson: 'I'm Not Promiscuous'
While only a handful of celebs seem to value monogamy, one young actress gave props to being a one-man type of girl. Scarlett Johansson admitted in an upcoming issue of Allure magazine that, while monogamy may go against natural human instincts, shes sticking to her boyfriend and Black Dahlia co-star, Josh Hartnett.
When I'm in a relationship, I'm in a relationship. [My boyfriend] Josh [Hartnett] is very sweet," she tells the mag. "He's a good boy. A great person. I'm very lucky and I'm very happy. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not promiscuous. "
"There does seem to be a mistaken belief out there that I am sexually available somehow which is not to say that I'm not open-minded about sex. Yet I wouldn't say I'm a serial monogamist, either. I mean, I went through periods of time when I was, ah, single. I do think on some basic level we are animals, and by instinct we kind of breed accordingly.
Johansson stated that, despite her exclusive relationship, she still makes sure to be responsible at all times.
"I get tested for HIV twice a year...one has to be socially aware. It's part of being a decent human, to be tested for STDs. It's just disgusting behavior when people don't. It's just so irresponsible."
In other Johansson news, the actress vamped it up with Dita Von Teese for a photo spread in Flaunt magazine.
