Man With 78 Kids Going for 100

If you thought the story of Jim Bob Dugger, his semen trough, uh, wife and their 17 Jesus spawn was extreme, this will blow your fucking mind.
A one-legged Emirati father of 78 is lining up his next two wives in a bid to reach his target of 100 children by 2015, Emirates Today reported on Monday.
Daad Mohammed Murad Abdul Rahman, 60, has already had 15 brides although he has to divorce them as he goes along to remain within the legal limit of four wives at a time.
"In 2015 I will be 68 years old and will have 100 children," the local tabloid quoted Abdul Rahman as saying.
"After that I will stop marrying. I have to have at least three more marriages to hit the century."
The United Arab Emirates newspaper splashed its front page with a picture of Abdul Rahman surrounded by his children, the eldest of whom is 36 years old and the youngest of whom is 20 days old. Two of his current three wives are also pregnant.
Now, in order to help you put this into perspective, I did the calculations and came up with some interesting statistics for when this sexual Tyrannosaurus reaches the century mark:
- Assuming the children are spread out evenly over a total of 18 wives, each wife will have given birth to 5-6 children over a period of 44 years, with a total average of 2-3 children over the same period.
- The total time of pregnancy, using the average time frame of 9 months, will be 900 months, or 75 years.
- Your everyday ejaculation can be anywhere from 1.5 to 5 milliliters (for you non-math conversion types, 1 milliliter = about 1 teaspoon), and a "normal" sperm count is around 70-80 million sperm per milliliter. Assuming each pregnancy takes on the first try, Daab Mohammed will have spilled anywhere from 10.5-40 trillion of his potential children into waiting wombs.
Daab Mohammed, who lost his leg in a road accident, receives a monthly military pension of 24,000 dirham (around $6,500 American). But not even being an amputee can slow this testicular Hercules down.
After Ramadan, I will go to Jaipur to get an artificial leg and marry a beautiful Rajasthani girl, he told Emirates Today. I have had seven Indian brides."
The Emirates Today article gives more insight into the life of the man who puts Mr. Dugger and his cracker factory, uh, wife to shame.
Even though my family is big, I dont have any problem managing the budget, he said. If I buy fish for the entire family I have to spend a minimum of Dh500 per day. If the menu includes mutton at least Dh1,000 per day is required, and thats just for the meat. And despite having so many offspring he does not overlook the vital duty of any dad. He added: I take care of their requirements and pay pocket money to each and every child.
Godspeed, Daad Mohammed Murad Abdul Rahman, you poster child for superhuman virility, you. And be sure to take plenty of Vitamin E.
thefreak took an online quiz today that said he will die while having sex. If it's from having that much sex, he will die a happy man.

First Arab Appointed to Israeli Cabinet

The Israeli/Palestinian conflict is often couched in terms of a religious war, with Palestinians as Muslims and Israelis as Jews. But that analysis doesn't take into account the significant Arab population in Israel, many of whom are active in the Israeli Defense Forces, though not always happily. On Israel's place in the region, the minority Arabs are often torn between loyalty to their own country, which affords them considerable rights in comparison with neighboring Arab nations, and sympathy for Arabs seen as being persecuted by aggressive Israeli military tactics. While Israel does have a representative government, only a tiny fraction of its 120 seats belong to its Arab minority. But the appointment today of Raleb Majadele, a known union leader and Muslim Arab, to the position of minister of science, culture and sport, could be a signal of the increasing political power of this group.
The Israel government has voted to appoint an Arab Muslim to the cabinet - for the first time in the history of the Jewish state.
Raleb Majadele from the Labour Party will be minister without portfolio.
Mr Majadele, aged 53, said his appointment would give Israeli Arabs a sense of belonging.
Labour Party leader Amir Peretz said it was an historic step towards equality for Israeli Arabs, who make up about 20% of Israel's population.
All Israeli cabinet ministers - except for the ultra-nationalist Minister of Strategic Affairs, Avigdor Lieberman - voted in favour of Mr Majadele's appointment.
"The first step has been taken and this has given Israeli Arabs a feeling of belonging," Mr Majadele told Israel's Army Radio.
Whether this is simply a token appointment or intended to actually bring Arab Israelis closer into the decision making process for the government remains to be seen. However, given the history of Labour leader Amir Peretz, who appointed Majadele, it seems at least on the surface to be a sincere gesture of good will towards the Arab community within Israel; Peretz has a long history of progressive politics and dovish stances towards Israel's neighbors and the intifada. The appointment could also help with strained relations with other neighboring countries like Jordan and Egypt, forced to step up their anti-Israeli rhetoric this past summer to placate citizens who were up in arms about the Israeli attacks in Lebanon. Regardless, it does seem like a positive development for the country's government.

Arabs Just Love America!

Despite the stereotype of the American foreign policy machine, grinding everything in its path in a neverending quest for more money, there are actually still places, even in the Arab world, where America is not hated. Places like Jordan, where King Abdullah II has enjoyed a close relationship with Bush, or Morocco or even Egypt, who have typically been further afield from the recent conflicts the US has been involved with, have had a rosier picture of the US. Well, until now, that is.
James Zogby, the head of the Arab American Institute, said the annual survey of opinion in five Arab countries found that U.S. policy toward Iraq and the Palestinian conflict were the main issues driving deteriorating Arab opinion.
Our policies have not only had a worsening impact in terms of attitudes towards us but also in dampening confidence in the prospects for development and political stability and are therefore, I think, a real concern to countries in the region, Zogby said.
The survey released by the Arab American Institute found that more than 80 percent of people in Saudi Arabia and Egypt had negative opinions of the United States, similar to previous years, but attitudes worsened in Morocco, Jordan and Lebanon.
The biggest increases were in Jordan, where negative U.S. ratings climbed to 90 percent from 62 percent and Morocco, where they grew to 87 percent from 64 percent.
Attitudes toward American people, movies and democracy were more negative than positive in most of the five countries.
Emphasis added
These people aren't religious fanatics or extremists (though the near-constant portrayal of them as such by US media probably hasn't helped things), they're just regular, everyday people living in these countries. And they absolutely hate America, and even dislike Americans as people.
Sure, this is just a poll, but the fact is even in autocratic governments and monarchies, if the people are that united behind a particular cause, in this case hating America, it's hard for the government to maintain any other position. The diplomatic future of the US in the region is hanging in the balance, and if countries are unified in their hatred of the US it's going to be extremely difficult in the future for the US to play any part at all in trying to shape the politics of the region.
