The Al Franken Show on Air America will finally reach a larger audience. Beginning September 7, the Sundance Channel will begin showing it in a one hour time slot at 11:30 PM and 2:30 AM.
The "Franken" TV hour is currently scheduled through the November election, but all parties voiced hope the show would continue on Sundance indefinitely.
"It would be nice if it were a permanent home," Franken said.
Given the difficulty Air America has had getting on the air in many markets, this will be a great way to broaden the audience.
