Tennessee Takes Creepy to a Whole New Level

Tennessee State Representative Stacey Campfield has introduced what may be the most fucked up and creepy bill in the history of America. The bill would require death certificates for aborted fetuses. Not surprisingly, he is a Republican and a Christian.

"All these people who say they are pro-life — at least we would see how many lives are being ended out there by abortions," said Campfield.

Okay, freak.

Campfield designed the bill so that abortions could be tracked and create a public record of women who have had abortions. The number of abortions is already reported to the Office of Vital Records, but not the names of women who had them. Hopefully after this bill, Campfield can introduce another one that forces women who have had abortions to get a red neon sign installed over their house that says, “whore.”

Planned Parenthood has stated they are against the bill. Jesus has still not said where he stands on the bill, but his spokesman did say that, “Stacey is a girl’s name.”

Yet another pugheaded fundamentalist nincompoop who doesn't think it through. Look, if you are going to give us this "sanctity of life"/prolife platform, then you HAVE to address the issues of children born into poverty and the overpopulation problem in the world. They just want everyone to pump babies out and then not deal with the issues of how to take care of unwanted, uncared for and poor children. They never talk about what to DO with all these unwanted babies. And no, adoption is not always an option. Sorry.

Well, of course. That's the Christian thing to do. Wasting a man's powerful seed is a sin.

How different the US is to the rest of the world.
For you guys, it is a moral issue.
In the rest of the world, it is a technical issue.

Or maybe they should just be required to wear a big red A shocked

And Campfield, way to persecute women and their right to privacy. I'm guessing you hate them 'cause you're gay!

Well, birth and death certificates are considered public record. But of course, the way they want it implemented seems like it would be a HIPAA violation.

Do they normally issue death certificates to things that weren't born in the first place?
