Isn't satan an element of christianity..? Why is muslim refering to satan?

Yet again, this goes to show that Islam is not in fact a "peaceful religion hijacked by extremists". This, along with the fact that suicide bombers are not using religion as an excuse to avenge social wrong doings when in fact the religion states that killing infidels will be rewarded by Allah just goes to show this religion is just plain dangerous.

And lets not forget the government legislated laws in Islamic countries that legalize the killing of Muslim who converts to another religion (as recently happened in the now democratic Afghanistan).

There are Christians in Palestine who suffer just as much as Muslims but they do not strap on bombs...the bombs get strapped on because Islam says its right and just by Allah, making no exceptions for children getting blown up.

This is not "extremism". The religion itself is extreme. Moderate Muslims are simply ignorant of the religions teachings within the Koran in order to make themselves ethically comfortable with being Muslim.

Satan is found in both Christianity and Islam. He's the embodiment of evil blah blah blah.

Remember that Islam and Christianity worship the same god...and the same devil. Its just a matter of who's interpretation is right. And BOTH religions seem to be perfectly comfortable with killing each other to prove their own mis-guided religion as right. The only difference is that Islam would group Atheists or Buddhists as infidels deserving of death as well as chrsitians.
Christians are simply satisfied with converting non-believers.

True. Evangelicals take every word in the bible as the will of god. Moderate Christians read it differently or no longer adhere to certain sections. But the Christian text does endorse converting non-believers as an instruction from god, as apposed to Islam which endorses conversion and if that fails, death. That's what I was referring to

I would hope that high profile Christains would speak out against Fred Phelps and Jerry Falwell... but they never do.
