When Fugazi officially announced their indefinite hiatus, it was disheartening to think about a world without the excitement of a new album from the D.C. quartet. We can, however, look forward to a collection of Fugazi photos.
Punk, hip hop and skateboarding photographer Glen E.Friedman has compiled all of his Fugazi photos for a forthcoming book called Keep Your Eyes Open. The book's 112 pages collect images spanning the band's existence and will also include an essay by Nation of Ulysses and Make-Up front man Ian Svenonious.
Keep Your Eyes Open is slated for release on September 3; the twentieth anniversary of the very first Fugazi show. If you're still jonesing for some kind of Fugazi-related musical fare, Ian MacKaye's band. the Evens, will be on tour in North America through June.
