Courtney Love Reveals Forthcoming Album Details

Courtney Love is back. The conversation-polarizing proverbial phoenix has risen again. Over a year sober, the musician/actress has a new album ready for a fall release. The former Hole front woman has revealed to Spinner that her 11 track Linda Perry-produced sophomore solo album will be titled Nobody's Daughter. The album's titular track is said to be a meditation on her relationship with her estranged mother and is rumored to be one of the album's stand-out cuts.

"I think the title just says it all, I'm not pouting. I'm not playing anything up. I don't have parents that I acknowledge. I'm nobody's daughter. I'm nobody's wife. I'm nobody's bitch. I'm nobody's widow. I am somebody's mother. Other than that, I don't identify with these other female roles I'm supposed to have."

Love will debut material from Daughter at three small "secret" shows in Los Angeles, New York and London this June.

As posted earlier today, Love is also making headlines with the announcement that she has contracted Christie's Auction House to sell the last of her late husband Kurt Cobain's belongings, with proceeds going to charity. Love says her friends and family have been supportive of her decision.

"Everyone's been positive and behind me on it."

Love recently donated money from Ebay auctions of her own wardrobe to Chrysalis LA, a non-profit organization that helps the "disadvantaged and homeless become self-sufficient through jobs".

I'm not sure I want to picture those two indulging in the act that would create what would surely be the antichrist.

Im curious to hear what the album sounds like. It's so easy to take potshots at her but I need to seperate her tabloid life from her music.

I think that is good. I have always like courtney for some weird reason.
I am not too keen on that YOUTUBE though.. can we say 'overacting'?
