Interpol Reveals That There's 'No I In Threesome'

Finally, some Interpol news that provides useful information about the band's third album and has nothing to do with whether or not Paul Banks is moving to Jersey City and doesn't include a photo of Carlos D.'s gun holsters. According to a message board post on the band's site, the long awaited follow up to Antics has a title, release date and confirmed track list.

Our Love To Admire will appear on earth on July 10 and will be the band's first release on Capitol Records. So there you have it. Chances are, you'll hear it way before then; when an album's complete it seems that it's only a matter of time before it makes its way onto the internet.

The band's sense of humor obviously got the best of them when they were choosing song titles:

01 Pioneer to the Falls
02 No I in Threesome
03 The Scale
04 The Heinrich Maneuver
05 Mammoth
06 Pace Is the Trick
07 All Fired Up
08 Rest My Chemistry
09 Who Do You Think
10 Wrecking Ball
11 The Lighthouse

Look for the quartet as they do the North American festival circuit over the course of the coming months. They then escape to Europe, where they will dazzle people holding money with a much higher value than the dollar.

I remember when Carlos D. was the departmental administrator for a certain university in NYC when i was getting my PhD. Everyone needs a day job and his nails were black even early 90's!

yeah i had class with carlos. Really awesome dude. My best friend/drummer of my band was the original drummer of Interpol, so I literally watched these dudes go from playing to 8 people in the Luna Lounge to where they are now. They really did bust their asses, so good on them.

Sounds like a rewrite of Slow Hands from Antics.

I hope this continues the Antics tradition of stupid titles yielding really great songs.

Hopefully they do an indoor venue around here, because I've seen them outdoors twice (Curiosa in NY and with the Pixies at Jones Beach), and they really don't translate in open air venues for some reason.
