Shins Mini Tour and Pre-Sale
The Shins have planned a quick, mini tour of the West Coast. The December tour sees all four stops at radio station sponsored holiday shows. It's Christmas, and Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa time!
Nov 29 - SIRIUS in -studio performance - New York, New York
Dec 7 - Key Arena - Seattle, Washington
Dec 8 - Bill Graham Civic - San Francisco, California
Dec 9 - RIMAC Arena - La Jolla, California
Dec 13 - Crystal Ballroom - Portland, Oregon
Pre-ordering for the Wincing the Night Away began today directly from the Sub Pop website. This means you can buy it today, and still wait until January 23, 2007 to get your copy! The incentive to do this is that Sub Pop is offering $2 off the regular price for all pre-orders up until street date; that brings the price down to a cool $13. Don't be the idiot who pays $15.
But what should you get your favorite Shins fan for the holidays in the meantime? Sub Pop has got you covered there too. You can still pre-order the album for that special someone for the holidays and get a card to tide them over in the meantime!
