Type O Negative Brings Back Doom & Gloom with Tara Vanflower

Are you ready for some dark, velvety, doom & gloom goth-metal? I know I am. After 4 years, Type O Negative has announced that their new opus, Dead Again, is finally on the mixing board and features a guest appearance by Lycia vocalist Tara Vanflower. I can feel the shivers already, anticipating a deadly, ethereal landscape of death and decay.



There isn’t a set release date, although we should expect something in early 2007. My guess is that a giant, spectacular tour will follow. As of now, those that reside in California can see them live on Thursday, Januaury 21, 2007, at The House of Blues in Anaheim.

he just did a Carnivore tour over the summer. didn't you know? it's all over YouTube and there's a Carnivore site up somewhere. good stuff, though i didn't get to make it to a show.

ToN are my fav bunch of ass lickers and seeing them on the front page of SG makes me intensely happy even though that's sort of ironic considering that it's...well, Type O.

So...does this mean Pete's changed the name of the upcoming album from "Prophits [sic] of Doom" to this? i'm happy about that too as i think the wordplay Pete is famous for is a little campy. but then, if it weren't campy then it wouldn't be Type O.

haha, that sucks. they did a few shows in Germany and several here on the east coast. you should look them up on YouTube.
