The Witchcraft of Diamanda Galas

If she weren’t the devil herself, Diamanda Galas would definitely be a Goth Goddess.

Last year's tour was cancelled because certain venues weren't capable of handling her light show, but much to the delight of her fans, the Goddess is back!

Whether you love her passionate, satanic cabaret style, or fear that her demonic screams will shatter your eardrums, I guarantee that her presence and performance will hook you for life. She will seduce you with her witchcraft and put you under her spell. Let her piano speak to you and her experimental vocals take over your soul.

Her music is an acquired taste. If you hear one of her more experimental tunes first you may be put off by her.

Glad to see she's touring again. Unfortunately it only seems she's touring Europe at the moment.

Personally, she shattered my eardrums. But that was worth it for the most intense night I've ever had.

Love her. Was ecstatic to discover my now-wife then-girlfriend was a long time business acquaintance/friend (status depended on who pissed who off...). More so when I met her for the first time on the street and she blessed my wife's pregnant belly. Trebled that when I got to work with her. Sheer joy!

I saw a performance earlier this year in New Zealand (her Lovesongs tour). Witchcraft is definitely the right word to describe her. The whole room was totally spellbound. She had us in tears, in disbelief, & pure joy. If there is ever a chance to see this woman perform live, you must take it.

i've saw her live in London once. I was terrified, the music and the voice were just sooooo scary and definitively not for the fragile at heart.

Go and see her if she's playing your town, it really puts a difference perspective on the power music and sound has on us, mere mortals.
