Depeche Mode Reissue and Best Of

Break out your skorts and scrunchies, everybody's favorite band in 8th grade, Depeche Mode, is re-releasing three of their classic albums A Broken Frame, Some Great Reward and Songs of Faith and Devotion (which I never really liked) are hitting stores next week. Rhino puts the reissue out with some added flair, complete with DVD footage, some "revived artwork," and some stuff collector types will like.

Depeche Mode are also set to release Best of Volume 1 later this year. Featuring 18 tracks from 1981 through today.

Ahhh...Death's Door. I was at the show in New Orleans when David Gahan had his little cocaine-induced cardiac mishap. After he collapased and was whisked offstage, Martin Gore came back onstage by himself and played......that's right....."Death's Door".

never knew who depeche mode was until i think it was the grammys or the american music awards where i saw gahan singing "strangelove" and thrust his hips at key moments...truly a strange and interesting band smile
