It took a little time, but the Rapture have decided to play some shows in the States after all, following their European tour of course. The tour is in support of their third album Pieces of People We Love. The album is to hit stores September 12th in the US and September 18th in the UK.

Apparently, Steve Jobs offered them some iPods or something, because the guys are flying back to do one show at Apple Soho. They'll probably say stuff like, "We Love Mac." or "Mac's are awesome."

Which is true, but do we really want rockstars bowing to Steve Jobs' whim?

Maybe they just wanted to come home for a week. They're good boys. They love their mothers.
