They surely do get it. They understand that more people just got exposed to their music via the internet (and the hot girl lip syncing to it) than by any of the ClearChannel-controlled outlets of commercial radio over the past year -- who were more interested in playing the new Fall Out Boy single a hundred times a day and ruining music as we knew it in the process. Plus, they probably didn't have to spend a dime on any of the publicity (i.e. bypassing the idea of record company publicity advances, which bands often have to pay back)

Now hopefully, this will lead to a resurgence of new, younger fans who will be willing to come see Hall & Oates live (if they decide to play live that is). At which point, they can make more money on the road and through merchandising than they would in hiring costly radio promoters with their legalized Payola schemes to try and chart an aging band amongst the legion of pretty boy, cookie-cutter "bands", whist hopefully bypassing the major label's profit holds on them.

Rock on Hall and Oates (and of course, the always lovely, Reagan)!

So let me get this right Hall and Oates whom Reagan lipsynced love her for doing so and are going to reward her by giving her a copy of ther latest hit yet the always fucked up RIAA are claiming that she lip synced a Metallica song and breached copyright laws.

Well the first thing is have Metallica perfomed said song and the second who actually owns the copyright on said song if its owned by H&O then I really do hope they try and prosecute as this would then become a defimation of character case once it was proven the oh so sexy Reagan was innocent would potentially cost those Ivory tower money hungry bastards at the RIAA a bucket load of cash plus put them back in their box if its a public case plastered all over T.V and the net. It would damn shame it might criple them now wouldnt it.
