iJustine is an eTard Mastermind

Justine Ezarik, AKA iJustine, may have amassed a throng of iFans by filling in for Justin Kan on Justin.tv, and through her blogging and videos, but let's be realistic: the great majority of said fans want solely to see her boobs. I'm not making this up. Read any of the comment threads in her "episodes." They say things like, "Show the boobies," and "BOOBZ PLEASE."

The 23-year-old, who describes herself as "the Internet," recently got her big break. Nope, not co-hosting Geek Riot (puhleeeez), but rather, receiving a 300-page AT&T/iPhone bill.

Wow, awesome claim to fame, iJustine. Makes you look like a real frickin' genius. So far, she's been interviewed by CNN, NPR, USA Today, Gizmodo...the list goes on. And why are these various "news" outlets interested in speaking with her? Simply because she received a 300-page phone bill. Guess what? CNN, NPR, USA Today, Gizmodo...they all missed the point. What they should be interviewing her about is how she totally planned this whole chain of events out from the very beginning.

Most recently, on her Justin.tv channel, she appared with a book beside her: Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking, which she described as "sorta a sequel" to The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference.

Considering that iJustine was largely unknown until she video-blogged her "totally candid" receipt of the now infamous 300-page phone bill--which was so long, by the way, because she chose to have it itemize the 30,000+ "text messages" that she sent/received (read: had Twitter spam her with)--it seems pretty clear that this whole thing was a stunt: iJustine's own personally crafted "tipping point."

And bravo, iJustine: It seems to have worked. You go, girl. Enjoy those 15 minutes. iGuess.

Of all the things to finally agree with edith about.

Half of me sincerely wants to fucking die rather than share a universe with that.

The other half wants to run away with edith for exposing me to it.

I think there's something seriously wrong with me.

Well, hey talking about her here just makes her more popular right? I mightn't have known about iJustine elsewise. You gotta give her credit for making an impression. wink
All press is good press they say.

(Posh could beat her in a jousting match on a balance beam over a pool of sharks...I'd wager)

AT&T announced that they would no longer offer itemized/detailed billing, except on-line. Rejoice!

As much as I'm against killing all those trees, I did like the idea of AT&T paying $7 to ship that girl a bill every month.

AT&T changed their policy because of the tremendous response to iJustine's video. To me, thats pretty cool. but I guess to others, she is just an etard who planned this whole thing....

They didn't CHANGE their POLICY, they REMOVED an OPTION.

Kind of the same thing.. Removing the option for itemized bills is considered changing how they operate based on the response.
