Weightless Sex?

Do astronauts act on their animal urges while in space? While NASA claims they don't have any actual written guidelines saying they shouldn't, they're considering changing that.

Rachel Armstrong, speaking yesterday at a British Interplanetary Society symposium on the Human Future and Space, said the US space agency Nasa was considering how to deal with the natural urges of astronauts travelling on long journeys such as a trip to Mars, where the six-strong crew would be likely to include two women.

A trip to Mars and back could take three years or longer.

Hott nerdy girl astronauts. No gravity. Those little packets of freeze dried strawberry ice cream. Could you go for three years without sex?

so they're going to make it illegal? Is it unhealthy or something? I remember learning that once something starts going in one direction in space/ where there is no gravity it can't stop. I imagine this might not work so well for the men, at least.

I once read an article in Asimovs Science Fiction & Fact magazine about sex in space, saying that weightless sex works best with a third person assisting.

Why... would anyone care? I mean, If they don't have sex, their atleast going to masturbate. ... weightless masturbation could be a catastrophe.

I doubt there would be laws in space anyways, America does not own it. Regulations and penalizations for Astronauts is feasible however, but for this? I doubt it.

I'm thinking about trying the 100 days of abstinence mentioned in some Taoist texts but 3 years hmm will I be unconscious or full of saltpeter?

We've been doing co-ed space exploration for 20 years. You can't tell me that none of these adventurous, creative, curious, young people did a few orbital docking exercises while they were up there.

sex in space is a lot less dangerous than masturbating in space... sure, it'd be cool to see all your lil cum splatters float gently away instead of faling on your belly, but if you don't clean it up soon enough, you'd get it all over the place. And I don't think I need to tell anyone how sticky that shit can get, do I?

Ummm... I think I should have just not said anything, after all. tongue

Yes, but then the real problem arises, which network to air this new reality gem?
